On November 29, 2008 approximately 300 Albanians and Albanian-Americans from Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine gathered at the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel to celebrate the 96th Anniversary of the Albanian Independece. Special guests in this dinner dance were Merita Halili, Morena Reka, and Raif Hyseni's orchestra.

The MAAS/BESA Annual Meeting will be in the McKim Conference Room at the Boston Public Library on Sunday, February 1st at 2pm. Enter the library from Dartmouth Street in the old building and the conference room is on the 1st floor on the right.  Everybody is encouraged to come and get involved in MAAS/BESA.   We are always looking for and need new people to get involved. You will have fun, too!!!
